Alexi's city is still burning when he is caught by the Greeks and given the choice of slavery or death. With his family dead he is forced to choose the life of a captive. He and other survivors are put on a ship bound for faraway Ithaca, under the command of the Greek warrior Odysseus. None of them can forsee the perils of the cursed voyage and Alexi has no idea how much worse his life is to get. A gritty, realistic retelling fo the classic Greek legend of the "Odyssey.".
